I installed the joomla component and module. Everything works beautifully, except that
1. all .com domains are reported as being unavailable.
2. I added .co.za, which was not available by default. The whois.co.za server is not responding. This may be a problem with the whois server and I am busy trying to resolve this with the co.za authority guys.

Does anyone have any hints on what could be wrong with the .com requests? Any things i should be looking out for creating the .co.za extension?

Hi Stefan,

As far as .com domains unavailable problem is concerned, please post the url where you have installed Ajax Whois. The new version "Ajax Whois ver 0.4" now contains co.za, org.za and also InterNIC domains whois support.

Thanks for getting back to me. After reading around and experimenting, I discovered that I had changed the unavailable text message of .com. When i changed it back to "No matches" or whatever the correct phrase is, .com worked perfectly!

I am very happy to hear about the new 0.4 version with .co.za. I was reading around like crazy yesterday, trying to figure out where to get this from.

Dude, you have done an awesome job with this extension! I was expecting to find only the most popular extensions, like com, org, net. And then I saw the list of options and was truly stunned! Well done!!!

I installed version 0.4. But co.za is still not working. I did uninstall version 0.31, but it must have still kept my settings for co.za and when I installed version 0.4, it did not overwrite, with the correct settings

Any chance you could just reply with the settings I must enter to make co.za work?

Please download the extension again, uninstall the old fully, drop the aw_ext table also and install again.

Hi, I can also not get the co.za domain check to work. All co.za domains show unavailable.

I have tried to reinstall again. Can you please tell me what you mean with "drop the aw_table" and where do I find if.

I would so love to get this lovely extension to work on my site.
