Joomla Ajax Domain Whois Search

When trying to install the component I receive the following error. (This is a fresh install of Joomla 1.5 so it's impossible that the component/module already exist) I also checked the file permissions...I assume it's a missing or duplicate file).


* JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/var/www/virtual/domain_name/htdocs/administrator/components/com_ajaxwhois/' - Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt
* Component Install: Could not copy PHP install file.

Same problem here. Maybe in a future AW! version compatibility with Joomla!1.5 will be added.

Everywhere I look I only see the combination of Joomla1.0.x and AW.

Same problem here with newest version of Ajaxwhois 0.41

hello, congratulations by its excellent componete version 4 this giving a problem me when the attempt to install says to me that not it can then already exists the installed folder and when I look for it not this this is in joomla 1.5. thanks and I hope can help me

The version 0.4 is not for joomla 1.5 I shall be releasing the new version 0.5 in a few days. Sorry, I had been busy and so please bear with me.
