Now you can use whois.softuff.org for whois lookup in case port 43 is blocked by your host or by some other reason you are getting some error using Ajax Whois.

Download Ajax Whois version 0.6 now.

You should have an active paid membership with Softuff.org to use this feature. Just update your profile with the domain name where you want to use this feature (but without http://).
