Hi,

In Firefox, IE8, Chrome etc. no error is reported. However, Your Joomla template is using CSS positioning mechanism which is not compatible with Ajax Whois.

Are the above one called "Customer Support ???" 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Sorry for the title but I don't like the answers like the one I recieved from the support.
Now I explain better my problem and together I'd like to find a solution.

So, if there is no problem, why when I set "resizable window" in module parameter and I click whois link, the whois information are wrote to the end of the page ? i would like to use this way becouse I have a lot of issue with z-index in Explorer using LightBox.

I try with different template but the z-index issue is a constant for me.
I's not possibile open the who is information in pop-up ? or using the same style that you use when you open "website" link ?

Another issue is that the link "more extension" in module does not work!!!

I would like to remember to sofuff.org that when they sell component and modules they have to give support to the customer and not reply "It's not our problem, it's your own template" too simple....

If someone want to help me to resolve my problem I post the url of the test web site where the problem persist.
(new.dwb.it --> try to search an existing domain and click on whois or try to click the link "altre estensioni (more ext)"

Thanks
dwb

Hi,

Sorry friend. Please don't mind actually your information was not proper, we shall definitely help you resolve any issues. Please post a support ticket. The Joomla Template which you are template using is using a relative positioning mechanism, which we can rectify (make compatible with Ajax Whois) if you choose Premium Membership. So, the above reply. As in our opinion you might have gone thro' the Membership page which specifies that the Joomla template modification is only covered under Premium Membership.

The template on the site dwb.it is much more better as it does not uses positioning mechanism, so compatible with Ajax Whois.

Please again note that "Any Joomla Template using Relative / Absolute positioning mechanism is not compatible with Ajax Whois." So, You need to modify the Joomla template yourself or we can do it for you.

I resolved my issue, after you last post in ticketing system.
I post my solution so other people can resolve similar issue.

I have a module in my template called "Image Slide Show" that load in the header javascript that cause the problem above in Explorer. So it was not a positioning problem (using resizable window method) but that some javascript in the modules above. I comment out each javascript refer and I found and resolve the issue (the module load mootools javascript in a wrong way).

So it's not a problem of your component/module and I wanna to excuse me with the designer of ajaxwhois!
