Hi,

First of all, thanks for this great component.

Only I have one problem. When I check a domain name, all the tld's keeps on Checking ...
without any results. :/


Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

this is the url:

i have instald: com_ajaxwhois.v0.5.2.joomla.1.5.zip and i use joomla Version 1.5.13

Hi,

Seems that the port 43 is blocked at your server by your host. You can opt for Ajax Whois 0.6.x

Hi! I have the same problem. I tried all similar components listed on the joomla website and yours is the one I like the most, although, none of the components (including yours) show me any results or they show wrong results.

When buying the product, is there any kind of warranty that I WILL get this component working and showing accurate results?

If module keeps on checking then Port 43 might have been blocked on your server by your host.

Please contact Softuff Support specifying url where you are using the component.

Hi! I checked with Godaddy and they tell me port 43 is blocked.

Where can I downloaded the suggested Ajax Whois version 0.5.1?

My website is www.promocioncreativa.com but the module is unpublished at the moment since I don't want my clients to use it until it works. I can publish it back for a while if you let me know when would you be online.

Hi,

Please note that version 0.5.x will not work when port 43 is blocked, however, version 0.6 has a feature to work even when port 43 is blocked. Please choose a paid support subscription so that Ajax Whois can work on your site.
