Some help with customizing Ajaxwhois 2 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I am a bit new to this but basically Im trying to implement this component in a hosting site. Everything is installed and seems to work great but so far Ive not seen any easy way to customize the look of the search box. Simply put something like this:

and embed the seach box in it somehow.
Sorry if this was already asked elsewhere... search button was broken =/
Ill prolly eventually figure out but if someone could point me in the right direction or give an example that would be great!

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Simple! This can be done by CSS styling. Style the #DomainSearchBox.

Even then if you do not understand or do not know CSS or unable to do it. Subscribe to Support and our suppport team can do it for you.

Thanks for the reply

I would rather try and figure it out for myself if possible.
I've went through and scoured every .css file i could find in the both the component and module directories and none have "#DomainSearchBox" in any of the css files or otherwise. I did find what I thought was it in the whois.css in templates/divs/ but it made no change.

Is there anyway you could tell me what the path should be for the css file I need to edit. Also Im using the newest version for joomla 1.5 if that makes a difference.

Thanks again

Hi,

You will have to add this to any of your css file (may be template_css.css file).

Or you can add style for .domainbox input in any css file.

Hi,

I'm looking for exactly the same modification so just to clarify, if I subscribe to support could one of your team do this on my site?

Cheers,

J.
