How do I configure the REGISTER THIS DOMAIN part? 3 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I have searched this website for documentation - Am I being really thick or is there any installation documentation?

What I would like to know is how to configure the REGISTER link so visitors can order domains from our website.

p.s. Using Joomla 1.5.7 with Ajax Whois version 0.5 J1.5

Hi,

The registration part is done by your domain registrar. Please post the domain control panel of your registrar's domain registration page so that we can help.

I thought we were the REGISTRAR?

For some years we have taken domain orders via www.easykey.net/websites/search-for-your-domain-name

All we need to do is give visitors a choice of packages with their domain and email the results to us.

We normally contact back and talk through requirements before sending an invoice.

We just thought the Ajax method was smarter.

Can you explain this a little more? I have reseller accounts at enom and godaddy. Can these be used? How do I set this up?

Hi,

For this either provide us the url which you normally use to register domains with enom, ask enom support how u can pass variables for domainname and extension to that page.

Apologies I'm not explaining myself very well.

All I am asking is whether perhaps you could add an option to allow us to configure a simple form so domain orders could be emailed to us.

We would need the following fields:
Name, Telephone, Email, Name to register the domain to (if different), address to register domain to.

We would then receive orders and provide our legendary personal service to talk through what services the customer would like with their domain (e.g. hosting, POP or Exchange Email etc...)
